Based in the East Midland, Paul Ryder has been practicing photography for over 30 years. The passion he has for the art was cemented when, in 1978 he decided to specialise in photography for the final part of his Fine Art Degree.

Although now a photography and lens media teacher by profession, Paul still works freelance on his own projects, having had his work on display in local galleries including the City Gallery in Leicester where he won an award in 2006 for 'The Fisherman' which can be found in the New Orleans section, on this site.
